Hotshot Asphalt LLC is a family owned and operated company and prides itself on a great reputation built on trust, competitive prices, and customer satisfaction, running its business with the community in mind.

We’ve been offering our asphalt paving and maintenance services to Franklin County and the St. Louis area for over 40 years. Founded by Carl Burns in 1990 as Carl Burns Paving & Sealing LLC, he and his wife, Lori, built the business to the point where it now occupies space in a small industrial court off Hwy 47 between Union and St. Clair, Missouri. They built the currently used large industrial shop to house most of the equipment and maintenance processes, as well as an attached office building.

The current owners, Glenn and Lynn Boresi, purchased the company—its physical and intellectual assets and customer history—from Carl and Lori Burns in late 2017 and changed the name to Hotshot Asphalt.  Glenn and Lynn have been married since 1981 and are both civil engineers with degrees from Missouri University of Science and Technology (University of Missouri-Rolla). Between the two, their experience has been in construction, manufacturing, stormwater control and site development. They’ve brought this background into Hotshot Asphalt, refining its processes, and creating organizational systems to optimize project management and customer service.

The owners work at the facility in Union and live in neighboring Washington, Missouri. This is a small community, where everyone knows everyone (in a good way!), so it’s important to Glenn and Lynn to maintain their great reputation for providing honest customer service and exceptional paving results.
